I would love to hear from anyone familiar with the TASSETs of Belgium. Specifically, I am working on the following lineage.

Jacobus TASSET who died in 1765 in Neerpelt, Belgium. This Jacobus married
Joanna KNUIJSEN or KNUYSEN who was born 1709 in Neerpelt, and died 3 Nov
1788 in Neerpelt. Joanna KNUIJSEN was the daughter of Theodorus KNUYSEN &
Joanna GEUNS.

Jacobus TASSET and Joanna KNUIJSEN had a son:

Jacobus Pascalis TASSET (b. 1740, Aix-Hermee, Luik, Belgium, d. 2 Dec 1802
in Overpelt, Belgium. He married Maria Anna CORSTIENS who was born 1748 in
Overpelt, and died 24 May 1850 in Overpelt. Maria Anna CORSTIENS was the
daughter of Christian CORSTIENS and Antonia KNEUSEN.

Jacobus Pascalis TASSET and Maria Anna CORSTIENS had a son:

Christianus TASSET b. 14 Jul 1775 in Antwerp, Overpelt, Belgium, and died in
1843 possibly in Hannover. He married Helena MAAS/MAES b. 22 Oct 1773 in
Valkenswaard, Antwerp, Belgium, and died 2 Jun 1827 possibly in Belgium.
She was the daughter of Henricus MAES and Joanna WOUTERS.

Christianus TASSET and Helena MAES had a son:

John "Johannes" TASSET b. 22 Jun 1815 in Antwerp, Belgium. His death date
and place are unknown to us. He married 26 Jul 1836 in Sage Germany to Anna
Marie RUBERG b. Apr 1808 in Heeke, Germany, and died 19 Jul 1911, place
unknown. Her parents were Heinrich RUBERG and Elizabeth RATERMANN.

John TASSET and Anna Marie RUBERG had a son:

John Henry TASSET b. 23 Jan 1837 in Sage, Westphalia, Germany, and died 12
Aug 1900 in Windthorst, Ford, KS. He married Maria Carolina ROSENER b. 6
May 1837 in Bachum, Oldenberg, Germany, and died 14 Dec 1905 in Windthorst,
Ford, KS. She was the daughter of Johan Anton ROSENER and Maria Elizabeth
ALBERS.

John Henry TASSET and Maria Carolina ROSENER are the only TASSETs to have
been known to immigrate to America. They are the progenitors of all the
TASSETs in the U.S.
