Hello Everyone, I am looking for anyone who would happen to know some info on a Camiel Van Eeckhoutte. His wife would of been Elodie (maiden~Verstrette)Van Eeckhoutte.Another way I had seen it spelled was Vaneickhonth, but I know it was Van Eeckhoutte. They were from Belgium,Camiel came to the States in 1904 and I believe Elodie did in 1906. I have found the ship that he had came over on but I can't find any record of the ship that Elodie had came over on. It would be much appreciated if any info is out there. These would be my StepMom's Grandparents. Her mothers name was Alplonia Van Eeckhoutte Persyn. By the way Camiel was born est. 1863 and Elodie est 1874.
Thank You To All.

You do realize that you've posted on the Hungary message board, not Belgium??

They must have travelled back to Belgium, as I find Camiel arriving back in the US in November 1921. He was detained for 8 days (perhaps because he didn't have enough money on him). Says he had previously been in the US from 1905 to 1921 in Flint, Michigan. Bound for his brother, C. Van Eeckhoutte, 405 Schilden Ave., Flint. Born in Eeghem, Belgium. Says he is 59 years of age and married.

The list of detained passengers indicates PH DEF, which means Physical Defect. In the personal information area of the manifest there is a notation "drs cert tremors"
