Tracing Hendricks in Flemish Belgium

Classification: Query
Surnames: Hendricks, Maas
I would like to learn more about the ancestry of Frank Hendricks who emigrated from Belgium and subsequently married in Oconto, Wisconsin. Census records show an immigration date of either 1889 or 1890. I did find a Franz Hendrickx, age 31 and going to DePere, WI, on the Westernland which arrived in NYC from Antwerp on 9 May 1889. This would be the correct age for my Frank who, according to his Marriage License, was born on 12 Mar 1858 to Louis Hendricks and Louise Maas. Frank is always identified as Belgian Flemish in the Census, but I have no information on exactly where the family lived in Belgium. Nor am I sure of the surname spelling in Belgium.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
