I found the ship that my grandparents came over on but can't find a passenger list. It's th SS Monfort departed Antwerp Dec. 14, 1910 and arrived St. John Halifax Canada Dec. 27, 1910 at noon. Captain A.E. Moscrop. I'm not sure if they were married or not. Her name was Hortense VanHauwe and grandfather was Theophile Staelens. Spelling could be off. Thanks Joyce

My father was Oscar Van Hauwe, Born in Wanzele on 24 march 1921. Unfortunately, he left us on 23 march 2001, just the day before he would turn 80. He had 2 brothers, Michel (+) and Alfred. My grandfather was Philemon Van Hauwe.
