My grandfather was Michel DeFauw born November 9, 1886 and died near the end of World War I on October 27, 1918. He was killed by friendly fire. He was married to Martha Noppe DeFauw. I don't know much about my grandfather other than the above information. If anyone knows any of his family history I would be grateful for the information. My father was Rene August DeFauw born Oct. 4, 1914 in Nazareth, Belgium. He died January 27, 1996 in Moline, Illinois, USA
