I don't know if this is of any help to you, but I live near some of the Zeghers families in Holland Manitoba and area. That is the way they spell the name over here, and I don't know if there is a connection with you. Let me know if I came be of some help. A. Mangin Verniest

We are from the same family line. My GGGGG something rather was guillotined in Europe. I come from a long line of Chileans. My grandmother inherited title "countess de wassenburg" vicomte to another. We have a reproduction of the family coat of arms. So interesting!!! I live in the USA. I would love more info!!! Possibly a family tree. Thank you!

Hi,

I was checking on the website and I found your post. I am a direct descendant of the Zegers who moved to Chile. His name was Jean François Zegers de Wassemberg y Duras de Morgador. If you need more information contact my mum, her name is Bernardita Correa Opazo. She is a member of the board of the Chilean Genealogy Institute. I can send you her email via inbox.

Im pretty sure she can help you out.

Maria

Hi Marissa I find that so interesting. My mom has been studying the family tree for decades! Could you please send me a photo of the coat of arms we always thought it was lost during the napoleonic empire. What was or is the.name.of your grandmother? I'm sure we must be related because thecount of wawasserburg.and vicomte of marci was my GGGGGGG granfather too. I will be more that happy to share the family tree my mom has been putting it together because she is a member of the genealogy institute in Chile.
Of.course and for anyone who might have some info that would be great!
Happy New year!
