I have been trying to find some information on my husbands side of the family and his grandfather came from Malines, I have information on his great grandfather but then I get stuck. Can anyone give me any idea of where to start to look for records or anything?

I would be extremely grateful as my husband is most interested in the searching I have been doing and I would love to provide him with more information about that side of his family.
