From which country are you ?
I know that there are several people in the Netherlands with the name Jeursen, just like me. The Belgium part is decending from the Netherlands, I think 5 or 6 generations back. Simon Stroet in the Netherlands is also well informed about the history in Netherland. I have met him +/- 20 years ago. He had also recreate a book about the name of his wife Jeursen ( in Dutch language) His earlyest date is about 1780, if I'am right. There it stops ...
There is also a Belinda Jeursen in South Africa or New Zeeland, which I found on the internet. I don't know her history.
