Hi there! I'd be really grateful if someone could please help me with this, as I've hit a brick wall.
1. The birth of ALEXANDER PROCTOR in Paysandu in June 1865 to parents ALEXANDER PROCTOR and CATHERINE DURIE.
2. The death of CATHERINE PROCTOR (nee DURIE), wife of ALEXANDER PROCTOR, about 1873 in Paysandu.
(Alternate spellings for Durie are Durrie, Durrel).
I believe these ancestors were in a remote Scottish settlement and may have been classified as British subjects, although I can't find them on any British records. I also can't find anything on the IGI.
Thanks so much for any help.
Cheers, Nikki Stern.
