Is anyone out there a descendent of Jean David? At the time of the deportation of the Acadians from Nova Scotia, Jean David and one daughter,Jeanne Olive, were deported to Guiana. We find him signing as a witness at his daughter,Jeanne Olive's marriage to Pierre LeClerc in the Parish of St. Savior. They married on Dec.1, 1764, She remarried but by that time,Jean David, dit Michel was deceased. Where,and in what town is the Parish of St. Savior? If you can give me any information at all it would be greatly appreciated.
