In 1946 or 1947, Leonor Mendez(and seven other women)is alleged to have been murdered by her attorney who had supposedly duped her and the other poor women into transferring assets into his name. The story would have almost cetainly attracted the attention of the Colombian press and made national headlines but I do not have the launguage skills or resources to research this. Today, the daughter of the late Senora Mendez (my mother-in-law)lives in the USA and has no family connections in Colombia. We are seeking any information that might assist her in corroborating the story of her mother's death and in connecting with any surviving relatives. Can you help?
