Thank you for getting in touch. I am sorry to hear that you have not made any progress with your enquiries in Argentina.

I am not surprised that you did not get any details of your relatives although you paid a lot of money.

I have been researching for over 25 years and have 30 000 names in my files. In the past I have paid genealogists to do work for me and they came up with information which was wrong. Therefore, I carry out my own research.

Most of my research has been in Ireland, England and in the USA where the records are good. However, when you research in South America it is very difficult to to get information.

I only posted a message about my Hughes family on the Argentine message board in the hope that someone would recognise the name but nobody has. It was a long shot, but I got no response.

If you need any assistance in tracing relatives in Ireland, England or Scotland please let me know and I will see if I can help. I know all the sources of information in these countries. I specialise in Irish records.
