hola, como estas yo soy Sueldo, de los Sueldos de salta, tb me gustaria saber mas del origen del apellido pero no se encuantra demasiado.

Mazan, por lo q he buscado queda en Francia, si el hermano de tu papa q nacio en Mazan era el mayor de ellos, puede q todos provengan de ahi.

Tb he estado buscando por otra parte y parece q en el segundo lugar donde ahi mas Sueldos despues de argentina es peru, claro q la proporcion es mucho menor.

Claramente me gusta mas la idea q el origen de nuestro apellido sea Frances, incuso me sonaba asi antes de averiguar un poco.

Tendremos sangre asul,real los Sueldo????. Suerte colega un abrazo

I had an ancstor born in Cordoba Fraile Muerte (Bell Ville). I googled british in South america and found a number of websites that provided some data also familysearch.org had some data but it is not extensive. One of the sites was http://argbrit.org/index.html hope it helps.

I am looking for my Grandfather Fundador Maldonado born in 1931 in Puerto Rico. He was once married to a woman named Ruth Ellen Williams who was from West Wirginia. They had two daughters named providencia (1954) and Carmen in Detroit Michigan who are both living. Also a daughter named Susan who passed after birth in West Virginia. I'm looking for information on a family named Greening or Carr living in Rosario or Cordoba Argentina about 1865 and 1900s. Emily Greening born Rosario to Charles and Elizabeth Rose Greening married Michael Joseph Carr in Liverpool but they went missing after 1901 with their children Michael Jospeh Carr b 1900 Mary J b 1892 and Emily R b 1894. Michael Joseph (Jnr) turns up next in Liverpool 1919 when he married my grandmother. I have seen that Emily may also have had a brother Thomas and sister Sushannah also born in Rosario.

I think this must be a different lady. The Isabel Bottex I knew as a child had three daughters and no sons. Also, I believe that she passed away before the dates you last had contact with her. I will check with the daughter I am still in touch with as to the exact date of her death and get back to you.

When I lived in Madrid, Spain in 1979, I met a lady named Isabel Bottex. She was from Argentina. She was a singer and either dated or married Xavier Cugat, but was no longer with him. She had two sons, Alex and Willie. I used to write to her in the 90's and she came to see me for a few weeks, but I lost track of her. Somewhere, I still have her address. I can look for it if you think this might be the same person. She spoke Spanish, Portuguese and English.

Can anyone help me find information on my grandfather Cosme Damian Zapata - he was born in cordoba between 1905 and 1910 and lived in Buenos Aires when he died around 1975?
Cosme was married to Eliza? and they had 1 daughter Mercedes who moved to the uk around the 60's.

lei su repuesto aqui sobre el apellido Parisi en Argentina, y me gustaria saber si hay alguna relacion entre sus Parisi y Domenico Parisi nacido 1871 en Aragona, Sicilia.

El cuento ve en q Domenico fue a los Estados Unidos a vivir (a Chicago, estado de Illinois), pero luego se fue a Argentina o Brazil por los anos 1908-1915, y segun tuvo 2 hijos con una mujer. No se si se caso con la mujer o no.

Luego Domenico regreso a los Estados Unidos y nunca regreso - no tengo idea de como se llamaba los hijos ni la mama de ellos q quedaron en Argentina.

Los padres de Domenico eran Salvatore y Antonia (Anna)Alfano - Salvatore era de Aragona, y Antonia era de Cianciana(se pronuncia Chianchiana), Sicilia. Su padre de Antonia se llamaba Biagio Alfano.

Por favor, si se encuentra algun dato q puede ayudar lo apreciaria.

Yes, this was my grandfather, Julius Rocas. I have been researching he and his family. I don't know very much about him except that he worked on a ship and left Argentina for New Orleans, LA and Mobile, AL. He lived in these areas during the mid 1890's and during the mid 1900's. My dad was older when I was born, so I am not that old. Do you know where your Rocas family came from. Please let me know and we can compare notes. We could be from the same family, you never know.
