I am searching family roots from Sweden, I lost everything from a fire and I am trying to get started again. My Grandfathers name was John Anderson and I think his dad was Alfred (maybe) John's date of birth was 1860. I believe his brothers came to America with two different last names. Almquist and Palmquist. But I do not know this for sure. Any way I was hoping you could give me some sort of history on Halland and about the time of 1850- 1860
