I'm working on tracing my great grandfather, Karl Bergman, who emigrated from Sweden.
This morning I received copies of the Rosembaum immigrant bank records showing the ticket purchased for him in 1901 by his stepfather, John Bergman. I was hoping to get some help regarding whether I'd be able to decipher any further detail than the general locations I previously knew.
I can see that his address says Oland at the top, and Schweden (Sweden, I assume) at the bottom, but I wasn't sure what the middle says/means. Looks like "Post Segestad"?
I'll attach pics with the whole page, and a close up of the address listed for Karl.
