About the last name....again, that's just what's been told and retold over a couple generations in the family. I'm something of a recent (re)addition to the family (long story), so I didn't grow up hearing that story as part of my own history, and as such I think it's a little easier for me to question it, as well as some of the other stories that have been passed down. I'm a bit leery of how things will go if this IS the right Karl I'm looking at....this version is a bit different than the version other family members have been used to hearing!!
