Good morning from cold, wintery Minnesota!

My grandparents and great Grantparents emigrated to the US and I would love to see if I can find out more about them and/or their children.

My great-great grandfather was Carl August Peterson who was born August 27, 1848 in Pers torp, Floda Socken, Sodermanland, Sweden. He married Mathilda Charlotte Malmquist who was born in 1856 in Sweden.

They had 9 children. Carl Evald Peterson (my great grandfather) was born October 3, 1873 and died September 19, 1926 in Karlstad, MN. Algot Peterson was born June 16, 1884. Agda Peterson was born September 10, 1884. Carl and Mathilda emigrated to the US in 1904. Two children remained in Sweden. Their names are Helda Zetterstrom and Hjalmar Petterson. The other children's names were Gotfred Peterson, Molin Peterson and Edith Peterson. I don't have birthdates on most of the children.

My great-grandfather, Carl Evald Peterson (d.o.b. October 3, 1873), married Anna Fredericka Larson who was born Feb 12, 1875 in Sweden. They both arrived to the US in 1915. I believe they lived in Ockelbo with their children before coming to the US.

Carl and Anna had 9 children. Gunnar Carl Peterson born Dec 26, 1898. Gunhild Fredericka Peterson born Aug 30, 1900 in Ockelbo. Carl Goldfred Peterson born Nov 23, 1902. Evald Carl Peterson (my grandfather) born Oct 26, 1905. Harry Carl Peterson born Jan 9, 1908. Ture Carl Peterson born May 5, 1910. Waldy Elvera Peterson born Feb 25, 1912. Algot Carl Peterson born Apr 22, 1914. Inez Viola Peterson born March 5, 1918 (in the US).

Attached is a photo of Carl Evald and Anna with their children before leaving Sweden, likely taken around 1914.
