Michaels marriage filed in NJ State Archives, v22 p127, names her as Martha English COLE.Notes on Michael-- He was a pew owner in Old Tennent Church in 1754 for which he paid £12. He was taxed for 166 acres of land and other property in Freehold. The name Michael appears on a list of persons admitted to the Lords Table, June 8,1735.( History of Old Tennent Church, Frank SYMMES pg 181). This document with the signatures is produced in Rev. Frank SYMMES book.Also his book shows that Michael had baptized, Thomas, MAY 5,1724 (?), and Susannah AUG 19,1739.There is a reproduced document in the book that shows Michael subscribed £7.00 toward the building of a new church. ( current OLD TENNENT CHURCH) This was a large donation making him one of the more generous subscribers..
