I'm looking for any information available on my wife's maternal grandmother Amanda Bergquist. According to her obituary, she was born 4 Apr 1869 in Värmland. I don't know when she emigrated to the US or by what means but she supposedly traveled to Iowa where she met her future husband Ivan Conradsson (in the US, he went by the name of Ivan Conrads). They moved to Kewanee, Illinois where they married on 14 Sept 1893. Ivan died 14 May 1955 and Amanda died on 22 Apr 1944.

So far, I have been unable to track Amanda back to Sweden and have no information on exactly where she came from in Värmland or who her parents were.
