Oh my goodness! Thank you so much! Since I posted this, I received Christ's death record from North Dakota and was able to confirm his birth and death dates. The certificate says his father's name was "Andrew Mattson" and mother is "don't know" as reported by Christ's wife. I don't know why Christ's father's name was anglicized on the birth certificate. To my knowledge he remained in Sweden, although I don't know for certain where Anders died. I'm really just getting started on this branch of the tree.

Thank you also for the Geni link for Elna's family. This takes me so much farther than I ever thought I would get! I knew about the headstones, I had added them to me tree awhile back, but I'm very grateful for whoever submitted them originally.
