My great grandfather Carl/Charles A Berglund immigrated to the U.S. in 1888. Where he married Christina C Jonsson (immigrated in 1882) in Denver, Colorado in 1900 and had three children Clarence A in 1900, Ruben E in 1903, and Ruth E 1907. He worked as a Pullman Porter on the Union Pacific railroad. By 1920 he moved his family to California.

The Berglund Family:
Carl/Charles was born 20 Oct 1860 in Odensjö, Kronoberg, Sweden; died 14 Nov 1941 California, USA. His father Lars Berglund (b: 5 Jan 1826 in Skatelöv, Kronoberg, Sweden/d: 29 Jan 1912 in Hilden Osby, Skatelov, Kronoberg, Sweden). His mother Christina Mansdotter (21 May 1824 in Skäggalösa, Kronoberg, Sweden/d: 16 Jun 1898 in Skatelöv, Kronoberg, Sweden). His grandparents Peter Larsson and Anna Petersdotter, & Mans Elm and Maria Mansdotter (no other information has been found).

The Jonsson Family:
Christina b: 7 Feb 1863 in Jorn, Vasterbottens, Sweden
d: 14 Oct 1947 in California, USA. Her parents Johan Zachrisson and Louvisa Olafsdotter (no other information has been found).
