Hi,
My name is Linda Stineff and I have recently gotten an Easter Card that my Grandmother sent to her mother (who died in Oct of 1929). I have tried to figure it out myself with my Norwegian dictionary, but I'm not doing very well.

"I min Fader hus er der maonge reim var dit ikke soa da hunde jeg sogt ider dit. Thi jeg goar bort forat berede eder sted.
Jeg vil love herren soa conge jeg lever jeg vil lovoynge Gud. soa long jeg er til.
Orsker dig en Gud paakke,
Klara"

Over the O are 2 dots in Orsker.
Appreciate any help.
Linda

The text is hard to translate to english. You have not understood all the handwriting. Some of the words are wrong.

And some of the norwegian words has changed spelling since then. Gone from a danish-like spelling to a more norwegian spelling (still very danish-like).

In my Father's house are many rooms, if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. (seems to be a quote from the bible)

I will praise the Lord as long as I live, I will praise God with song, as long as I'm alive.

Wish you a Happy Easter.

Klara

Thank you so much, I'm sure I wrote it wrong because it was in her handwriting but this is close enough. It is a Bible verse that she said to me many times as a child. I truely apppreciate your help.

Linda
