They would have been in Vikedal, on the Espevold farm. Also know there was a name another name used for a farm there: Hogganvik.

Hogganvik is a farm in Halse parish, Mandal, Vest-Agder county.

Hogganvik is also a farm in Rogaland. So you're right - it's in Vikedal, Rogaland.
