I am also tracing the Rae family & am also very interested to know how so many ancestry trees have Vestfold as the place that James Rae (b 1746 Muiravonside)died. I cant find any actual source information anywhere. I have just sent several messages to them to ask how they know but I get the feeling they are all just copied from each other. Someone must have added it originally though. Do you have any source information for this?
