In addition, if you would like to join the organization called Tronderlag of America, they own what is probably the largest collection of bygdeboker in the U.S. You will find information about Tronderlag on their web site: http://www.tronderlag.org
As a member, the lag genealogist will do lookups for you in the Melhus books. In addition these books are available for you to do your own research each summer at the "stevne" (annual meeting). In 2007 we will be meeting in La Crosse, Wisconsin August 1-4.
