Hello. I'm looking for information beyond my deceased grandparents who immigrated to the US, from Stavanger, Norway. Their names are Palmer Nedrebo or Nerbo (DOB 1916), and Gudrun Herlofsen (dob 1919). My father's name is Gunnar Nerbo (dob 10/31/45). He was born in Stavanger, and migrated here two years after my grandfather came. From my memory, my grandfather came over as Nedrebo in October 1947 and he later changed it to Nerbo while settling in America. From the passenger list, it states Krossgt, 62, Stavanger as (I'm assuming) his address.

If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it. I'm looking for any ancestors on my grandmother or grandfather's side. I'm unable to gather a birth record, as I do not know where exactly my deceased father was born in Stavanger. I'm at a stand still. Help!! :-)
