I have a record for Christian Mortensen marrying Karen Andersdatter in 1842, in the Rødenes Kirke book.

Christian's father is listed as Morten Ingervoldsen. I have looked though the Rødenes church records for his birth, but the only Christian Mortensen I have found is the son of Morten Jorgensen. To make it worse, the year looks right.

The marriage record says Christian is 28 years old, and one of the Christian Mortensens was borh Dec 31, 1813. Another was born March 11, 1815 to the same parents; Morten Jorgensen and Kari Ingvoldsdatter.

I am stuck!
