I am always looking for information on Ole Borsvold/Bursvold ancestors and descendants. My emphasis lately has been on ancestors in Norway. I am back two generations in Norway but would like one more piece of evidence to prove that I have the right Ole Hansen. Do have most of Ole’s daughters Mathilda (my ancestor) descendants and quite a few of other descendants of her bothers but am always interested in filling in the banks. Also, I have a few descendants in Norway from his first wife Anna Louise. Have a picture of the house that Ole lived in on the Borsvoden farm and a farm picture from a book on Norway’s farms. Maybe you have better ones. The picture of the house was taken some time after Ole left Norway.

Apparently there are not many pictures of Ole and Helena. I have a copy of one of them which is suppose to have been taken in Norway. I have an orginal picture of Ole and Helena taken about 1900 taken in South Dakota. I sent a copy of this picture to a distant relative in Norway about 1980-1990 but never heard whether he got it or not.
