This information is just great. I would be so very happy if you would scan those two pages for me. I understand they would be in Norwegian. I have traced my own family in Vest-Agder using the Lista Bygdeboker and church records.

I had difficulty with the 1865 census trying to find Gulbrand and Dordi so thank you for that information. I'll go back and try again and see if I can find neighbors.
I did find the above family on the ship Nordcap in 1867. It seems there was a mass exodus from Ostre Slidre in 1867.
I'm helping a gal that is just starting her Norwegian research and your information is going to mean everything to her. She will be visiting this site momentarily.
