My 3grts grandfather, Ole Trondsen Roknesvald lived in the Roknesvald farm till 1860, when road construction forced him to move his house by sled to (and rent from) a wealthy O/rmalen farmer named Mikvold. After that, the family's farm name was Mikvoldvald.

The family is as follows-

Trond Larssen (b.1768? d.1855 in Levanger) married Gunnild Petersdotter (1774-1843). Their son was Ole Trondsen (1813-1897). Ole Trondsen married Elin Olina (Elen Oline) Andreasdotter (1816-1910). They had 3 children, Andreas, Gurine, and Lauritz (1850-1923). By the time Lauritz comes of age, the family had moved from Verdal to Levanger.
