Hi. Sjur Andersen was also my gggrandfather!!! I have bin searching for family "Sjursen", who i know trawel to Canada
In the late 1800 century and in the early 1900 century. I have info about the family "Sjursen" her in Norway, but I want to know about theire life in Canada. Sjur Andersens daugther Lina Marie(Eline) Sjursen(Bertheussen)leave Norway in 1904. She brought with her, her daugthers Annie Sandrine and Gunvor Petrine to Canada. I know her brothers Karl Sjursen and Adolf Marius Sjursen allready had travel to Canada...so I belive she traveled to them. I also know her sister Ingeborg Sjursen, left Norway, and settle down in Canada. I hope to get some answers. All the best from Hilde in Norway:)
