I am looking for relatives of my grandfather, born Johannes Larsen Stangvik in 1895, son of Lars Stangvik who also had son Petter, born 1900. Stangvik was the name of their farm on an island not far from Bronno, I think. My grandfather emigrated to USA after 1918 as John Telgard and settled on shores of Lake Michigan in Frankfort, Michigan where I was born. I think his brother Petter still lived in 1977 or so when a friend of my mother's visited Norway. I would appreciate any help in locating relatives or others who may be researching the family's history.
