I am looking for the parents of my ancestor, Lars Johannesen. He was born around 1776 and was associated with the farms, Siursaeter and Rydland. Is he possibly the son of Johannes Hachsaeter (who may be Johannes Arnesen from Litland and Siursaeter farms)? Johannes Arnesen was the father of another of my ancestors, Nils Johannesen (of Siursaeter). Might Lars and Nils be brothers?

Lars Johannesen (from Siursaeter) first married Ingeborg Erichsdatter (from Rydland in Hosanger) on 1 Jul 1804. I am related to his second wife, Ingeborg Johannesdatter (of Wassel), whom he married on 10 Nov 1816 at Seim.

I've looked in the 1801 census for Lars and cannot find him anywhere. Perhaps he was in the military at the time. I have come to the conclusion that I may only find his parents in one of the bygdeboks for the Hamre/Hosanger area. Thank you very much for your time and efforts.
