I realize it was a long time ago that this message was posted, but I am the grandaughter of Juozas Valincius who was born abt 1892 in Juodeliai Kaimas near Kalvarija in Lithuania.
His father was also named Juozas and I wonder if he was related to Shamus Valincius in any way. He was born about the same time period and died in 1947 in a place called Sangruda.
I have also done some testing through FTDNA and have found that I am related to a Valincius line from the same area whose descendants immigrated to the United Kingdom.
My family immigrated to Massachusetts. I also hired a researcher in Lithuania and he found some Valincius family in Jubarkas Lithuania in the 1820s. Thanks, Wendy
