I have been reading the post, with interest. Let me start by saying Joseph Bagdonas and Eleonora Rimsa are my Grandparents. I will NOT pass on, any information I have not checked out as true.

At the start of the 1900's there were 2 Catholic Churches in Athol, Mass.
Our Lady Immaculate was the French speaking church in town and when it was founded, I do not know or care as it is not important.

St. Francis, was founded in 1913 to serve the Lithuanian community. Joseph and Eleonora were married in Our lady Immaculate, by Rev. John J. Jakaitis, July 12, 1912, because Father Jakaitis was coming regularly to Athol, from Clinton, to serve the Lithuanian speaking people and help them start/build there own church. The Church was located at 61 Jones Street and is now or was a Shoe Co. He was not the first Pastor. Rev. Francis Meskauskas (1913-1917) was.

Eleonora was born in Kraziai , Feb.23, 1890. Had 2 sisters and one of them came to the US. I have note that Eleonora and Frank ARE cousins but can't find the tie. I can't even find what boat she came in on. She just suddenly appeared.
