Thank you. I will let you know my progress. We had always thought that Fockenhof was the name of the manor house itself and not the name of the town/village. So Dreghne would be the house/farm that they lived on near the manor? My grandfather lists his father as a "baliff" on his marriage papers in Denmark. So do you think that just means he oversees his own farm only, or oversees part of the manor? According to one website the manor house was owned by a Prince von Lieven who also built a castle or something in the area. My grandfather's house was burned and he was taken prisoner by the Russians and sent to Siberia. He managed to escape but never found out what happened to his parents.
