Einar was Poul/Paul Einar (or Einar Poul/Paul - it varies). His sister's son, Guttormur Guttormsson, was the minister for the Icelandic churches in S.W. Minnesota: St. Paul's in Minneota (still functioning) and Westerheim Church and Lincoln County (both closed many years ago).

Guttormur Þorsteinsson and Birgitta Jósefsdóttir went to Canada with their children, leaving in 1893 on the same ship as my own grandfather and grandmother. Their son Guttormur is the only one who moved to the States - I wonder if he took the call to S.W. Minnesota because his uncle was still living in Lincoln County at that time.
