It has been over a year since we have corresponded regarding my Great Grandmother Sigrun Hjartardottir (Runa Maxin Churchill). I owe you a great deal of thanks.

After my contact with you I was contacted by a woman who is a Professor in Iceland, a descendant af a sister of Sigurdrif Guobrandsodottir. She was seeking infomation on the children of Vigfus, and also provided me with information on her side of the Islendingabok.

With information I had attained from both of you I am so happy to share that I have found and am in contact with many relatives in Iceland. I found the Children and Grandchildren of Runa's brother Skuli and her older Sister Margret. They have been able to share much with me, including how my Great Grandmother was missed and never forgotten. In fact when one of the grandchildren travelled to Canaga on a School trip in the 1970's she was asked to try to locate the sisters, even though this was 60 years after they emigrated to the US.

We have attempted to connect via Skype and we write frequently, sharing information back and forth. Many relations have now friended me on Facebook so we can continue to connect the lines.
