My great grandfather Johann Heinrich Nielsen immigrated to England leaving his two sisters Marie Henriette Nielsen and Louise Marie Magdalene Nielsen in Denmark with their mother Henriette Marie Louise Beckmann. The two sisters did not marry and as far as I was aware there were no other surviving family members.

My great great grandfather Dinnes Birch Nielsen was born on13 September 1827 in Barrit Parish, Bjerre District,Vejle County and baptized 21 October 1827 in Barrit Church. His parents were schoolteacher Melchior Nielsen and wife Ane Marie Dinnesdatter.

He was married on 19 April 1854 in Skt.Petri Church to Henriette Marie Louise Beckmann born 10 January 1831 in Copenhagen and baptized 13 May 1831 in Skt. Petri Church. Her parents were Heinrich Beckmann and wife Marie Magdalene Wallwig or Wanswig.

Their children were as follows:

baptized 6 June 1855 in Kongens Lyngby Church.

Marie Henriette Nielsen
born 8 December 1856 in Copenhagen
baptized 5 June 1857 in Skt. Petri Church

Johann Heinrich Nielsen
born 10 January 1859 in Copenhagen
baptized 10 June 1859 in Skt.Petri Church.

In view of my family’s apparent close connection with St. Petri Church I wonder if any of them were buried in the church graveyard and whether there are any records about them.
