I have been looking for my grgrgrandfather, Broder Nahnsen, who I figure was born in the late 1820' s and died in the early 1870's. My grgrandfather Claus Nahnsen came to Iowa in 1870 his two brothers Ingwer and Carsten came in 1871 and 1872. His sister Marie C., mother Agatha Diersen Nahnsen who was listed as a widow, along with Claus' fiancee Brigitte Namanny came in 1873.

I do know that Claus and Marie were born in Kremperhaus, while Ingwer and Carsten were born in Klockries, which were small villages outside of Lindholm, which is now Risum-Lindholm.

I do have the Namanny's back to the 1500's when Namann Soenksen was the rector of the Church in Bredstedt.

If anyone can help me it would be very appreciated, as Broder Nahnsen and his wife are my stone walls.
