Henry Warland was convicted at Dorchester in 1845 and sentenced to 7 years transportation. He sailed to Van Diemens Land on the "China", The China sailed 1 Jan 1846 and arrived 16 May 1846 in Norfolk Island. He later sailed on the Lady Franklin in Jan 1849. There are strong possibilities that he is related to my family and returned to England but desparately need information from anyone researching Warlands of Dorset, Warrens, Pattens and Cook families
