Hi all,
I have been in search for the following four peoples place of rest to no avail, if anyone can give me any clues on where to try next it would be a great help


Sydney Herbert NOBBS Bn 27th May 1848 Pitcairn's Island
Parents - George Hunn NOBBS and Sarah (nee) Christian
Married 1. Adeline Sophia CHRISTIAN 3rd May 1869 Norfolk Island
2. Dora? (maybe in Australia) apparently Dora was from Canada, Sydney is said to have Changed his name to Sydney NOBBS Rawdon and died in England???

Edmund Joseph Napoleon QUINTAL Bn 11th November 1846 Pitcairn's Island
Parents Arthur QUINTAL ll and Martha QUINTAL
Married Elizabeth SNELL???? I am not sure if this record is correct as the only Elizabeth SNELL Bn on Norfolk Island died at the age of three. And have not been able to find any record of a marriage anywhere
Edmond Joseph Napoleon QUINTAL left Norfolk Island for Australia with no further record.

Almira Emeline CHRISTIAN Bn 24th December 1847 Pitcairn's Island
Parents Isaac CHRISTIAN and Miriam (nee) YOUNG
Married John McLIVER (of Auckland New Zealand) 21st May 1867 Norfolk Island
Returned to New Zealand with her husband and apparently died there.

Mary Louisa QUINTAL Bn 29th April 1855 Pitcairn's Island
Parents William QUINTAL and Maria (nee) CHRISTIAN
Married John Matthew Patteson QUINTAL 15th December 1874 Norfolk Island
Mary left Norfolk Island with her husband who had joined the Melanesian Mission and is thought to have died in New Zealand..

thanks again , any information or hints on where I might find more would be much appreciated

Found a death of Emeline Mcliver aged 71 years in 1918 and a John Mcliver aged62 years in 1906/also a Mary Quintal aged 52 years in1905.

Almira Emeline Quintal McLiver appears on the 1893 electoral roll as Emmeline McLiver of Avondale Auckland, with her husband John. She died in 1918 aged 71
John died in 1906 aged 62

The Little's funeral records at Auckland City Libraries have Emeline McLiver died 25 August 1918 aged 71 years and buried 27 August 1918 in Symonds Street Cemetery.

The Little's funeral records at Auckland City Libraries have John McLiver died 10 October 1906 aged 63 years and buried 13 October 1906 in Symonds Street Cemetery.

The Anglican Sexton's list has Edmund Quintall at Block H 87. According to the late 1950's tombstone transcriptions Edmund Quintall, native of Pitcairn Island, died 14 December 1868. The St Paul's register has Joseph Edmond Quintale buried 15 December 1868 aged 22 years of West Queen Street.
