Classification: Query
If this is him, he was in NZ during ww1
Surname WHITE
Given Name St John Aubrey
Category Second Reserves
Last NZ Address Benbow Terrace Rona Bay Wellington
Occupation Clerk
Classification B
You could check the Eastbourne/Rona Bay electoral rolls to see when the last entry was.
Do you think he went to Australia first? As far as I know shipping to Norfolk Island from NZ was pretty rare.
The shipping lists from Sydney are available on a couple of websites-
OZships, http://www.blaxland.com/ozships/page.htm
and Mariners & ships in Australian Waters
http://mariners.records.nsw.gov.au/search.htm
On Archway there is an entry for probate for Arthur St John White in 1986, at Archives NZ Auckland
BAZZ 1570 Box3928 2347/1986
but they are closed at the moment for 6 months as they are moving to a new building in Mangere
