I am searching for any information on Caroline Adams b 24/08/1888 d 16/01/1974 nickname "Kaiee" especially the name of her partner or the father of her children. My family (Steele) are direct descendents of her daughter Elizabeth Ernestine Adams b 3/12/1909. she had 4 other children. This is the only missing link in the family tree.

Thanks,

Pete

HI Pete,

I am Karen, daughter of Denys, Son of Guil, Son of Kaiee.

I suggest that you speak with Boyd (dads brother) and he may have some information.

I would be interested in seeing your family tree in relation to us.

Regards,
Karen

Hi karen,

Thanks for your reply.

Boyd has already sent me the info he has but this is the only gap.ie who your gg grandfather is. My children's grandfather was kenneth, son of Elizabeth, daughter of Kaiee. Boyd has sent me an all inclusive list of all descendants and the only thing missing is the name of Kaiee's husband(s)/partner(s). Please let me know if you find anything.

Cheers,

Pete

Dear Pete,
I am not connected in any way, but in looking at your problem, I presume that Kaiee lived on Norfolk Island, and married? there. All the Anglican marriage and bith records, plus banns and burials, for Norfolk Island, are available as PAMBU microfilms. So are the 7th Day Adventist records
PMB 423-C of E records 1871-1971
PMB 425 7th Day Adventist records 1891-1970
THere are also other films from the Norfolk Island Historical Society.
I suggest you get in touch with PAMBU to ask where the nearest library to you which holds these films is.

Hi Christine,

Thank you.Yes, she lived on Norfolk for 86 years! and had 5 children but no one knows if she was actually married. I will try your suggestion but if you come across any other info please let me know. Someone must know something.Kaiee was born on Norfolk in 1888 and died in 1974 there so it's strange there isn't someone who is acquainted with her. a real mystery!
