I'm wondering if I can interest a gene-detective in providing a favour for me please?
It's a long shot, but worth a crack.
I'm trying to research my late, great-aunt, a spinster, who died in 1993 in Dunedin.
Is anyone willing to obtain the probate record information from the probate office regarding her will (or lack thereof)?
Details as follows:

I know that she had a very close friend, a lady named "Toni", who had been a lifelong friend to her and I believe had assisted with funeral arrangements etc. I'd also like to track her down too.
I never met my great aunt. Her tale is of heartbreak. She was born in Melbourne, fell in love with a NZ airmen, got engaged and returned to NZ with him to be married. He was called back for duty and was then killed, thus she remained in NZ and never returned to Australia. She remained unwed and never had children. Her heart was broken.
Thank you.
