I am interested in finding information on an ancestor who is rumoured to have emigrated to Dunedin in the first half of the 20th Century.

My ancestor is Agnes Haddow PEAT, born 1913 in St Rollox, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Her parents were James and Janet PEAT married on 20th Dec 1904 in Lanark, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Her father was a policeman in the same area as she was born. My grandmother and her father were brother and sister.

I have no idea when she emigrated but would assume it would have been not before 1935 or so. Neither do I know if she was married. I would have hoped to have traced her through a death certificate assuming that she lived in Dunedin until she expired.
