Mary Helen Mckinlay was born in 1884. l would like to know her marriage and death dates.
Also, was there a sanitorium or hospital at Glenorchy in the early 1900s as her brother and sister died at "lake Wakatipu" re the in memorial notices.

year 1904 folio 4590 Mary Helen MCKINLEY (yes thats the spelling) and William CLINGIN, he died c1918(according to Inv Burial and cremations Index, there is also a marriage of Mary Helen MCKINLEY to Alfred Lewis GROVES folio 1920. cant find her burial,but on the archway (Archives N Z website there is a link http://archway.archives.govt.nz/ViewFullItem.do?OID=13703523 possible probate/Will details for Mary Helen GROVES year 1908 and the address was Glenorchy. not sure if they are connected but worth a look,

The sanitorium was probably a TB hospital/retreat. You may find out lots about it by looking at old newspapers:

You will note the birth date in the school records does not match with the death age of this Walter, however given where the family lived I think this is a probability.
