Hi Missie Apatu
your query was about her husband Richard Ashworth, but in case you are interested:
Emma Cleaver was the second to last child of ten, of Emma, nee Arnold, b Badby ?Feb 1820.
(Her oldest sister Eliza is my ancestor. Hi cousin.)
Emma Arnold m Henry Cleaver in 1838 at Leamington-Hastings, Warwickshire.
Emma's parents were John Arnold, b 1784, Flecknoe, Warks, and Frances (Fanny) Homan, b 1793 Badby, Northants, m 1814.
Fanny's parents were Elizabeth and George Homan.
Emma's father was Henry Cleaver, b 1820, Caversham, Warks,
His father was Thomas Cleaver, b 1784, & his mother was Elizabeth Jackson.
Thomas's parents were John Cleaver b 1747, and Agniss / Margaret Marriott, b 1762, of Grandborough, Warks. They married at Grandborough, Feb 1782.
Agniss's parents were Margret Draper and Richard Marriott (born around 1710/30, at a guess . . .)
(Have you looked for information on Richard in Censuses, library fiches, his death certificate etc?)
Keep well
Migs (Margaret) Eder
