If this is not the best place to ask this question, please point me in the right direction.

I've been told that my ancestors (surname MARRON) from Co. Monaghan, Ireland emigrated to New Zealand on the SS Lincoln. I have found one passenger list on two different sites for the SS Lincoln and each lists people who MAY be my ancestor's family. Problem is, each site spells the surname differently. Neither is an image of the original manifest. Does anyone know if the original might exist anywhere in New Zealand? If so, would it be possible to hire someone to look at it (or them) to check these names?
