Thanks again, Steve. Bridget Marrin m. Bryan Callaghan and Margaret Marron m. John Gallen are related. Margaret & John are my great grandparents and Bridget is Margaret's sister (even though the names are spelled differently in these records).

According to a cousin, Margaret & Bridget had at least one other sister who went with them to NZ. I found a shipping list from 1867 showing these people: Bridget Marion, 19; Mary Marion, 19; Margaret Marion, 16; and (again) Bridget Marion, 17. I suspect these may be in "my" Marron family but am not certain. Margaret's age of 16 agrees with what we believe is her birth year (1851).
